New printing methodology for sustainable flexible electronics
EcoWires product consists of a cellulose substrate, obtained by dissolving the raw material, followed by a phase inversion. This methodology originates a transparent and flexible film, similar to plastic in aspect but solely made from the same precursor as paper.
During this process, a conductive ink made of carbon nanoparticles is injected inside the films, becoming insulated into them in a single step, by a new printing methodology which is currently under IP process.
